Dr. paed. & Dr. phil.
Alanus University offers students in the field of education the opportunity to earn a doctoral degree. The academic titles Dr. päd. and Dr. phil. are awarded.
Doctoral work consists of a dissertation and a disputation.
Primary reviewers in the doctoral process are generally professors from the Department of Education at Alanus University. Secondary reviewers can be university professors from other German universities or universities cooperating with Alanus University.
Admission
Admission to the doctoral programme requires 8 semesters of relevant university study or an equivalent achievement.
