Teaching Degree for Upper Secondary and Comprehensive Schools in the "Double Subject" of Art

Master of Education

Career Goal: Art teacher at a secondary school, comprehensive school or Waldorf school

In the Master of Education programme with double subject* art, you will experience and design your teacher training course in the atmosphere of an extraordinary art academy. Art education encompasses a broad area of activities. The programme examines these in depth and discusses them in the context of both formal and non-formal education. Students are prepared for work as an art teacher at secondary schools, comprehensive schools and Waldorf schools. The broad-based training in artistic practice, art education and educational science enables students to interweave theory and practice.

*The subject art can be studied without an additional secondary subject according to the statutory regulations of North Rhine-Westphalia.
